Gardener's 1940's Bungalow

After living in her home for 20+ years an avid gardener decided to renovate and decorate her home and guest house. It was important to her that her home reflected her appreciation of crisp colors that referenced her rose garden and that her home felt welcome to her extended family and friends. She also wanted a strong connection to her garden which was successfully achieved by opening up the living room and master bedroom areas up with French doors. Her newly built back deck extends the full length of the back of her home and is immediately accessible. Out back, she has a little gardener's house where she keeps her office.

The master bedroom is a mixture of old and new. The Victorian chair belonged to the client’s grandmother. It was repurposed with a contemporary toile from Robert Allen. A pair of vintage Chinoiserie night tables flank the bed.
